Main Cast Of “While You Were Sleeping” Discusses Ratings Goals And Promises

The main cast of SBS’s upcoming drama “While You Were Sleeping” gathered together to discuss ratings goals and promises.

On September 22, the cast held a Naver V App broadcast in a waiting room ahead of their official press conference. Lee Jong Suk, Suzy, Lee Sang Yeob, Go Sung Hee, and Jung Hae In came together and discussed a variety of topics, one of which was ratings promises.

When asked what they think the ratings for their drama will be, Lee Jong Suk replied, “I think we’ll get an average of 15 to 17 percent in ratings. And I think we’ll be able to surpass 20 percent at one point during the drama as well. There’s going to be a kiss scene in episode 11, and I think that’s when we’ll break the 20 percent mark.” Suzy added, “I can’t really decide, but I want to at least let it be known that I hope we reach 30 percent,” while Go Sung Hee estimated they’d hit 17.5 percent.

With their hopes for ratings set, the cast was also asked what they would do if their goals were met. Jung Hae In said he’d hold a free hug event while Go Sung Hee replied, “I’ll wear my prosecutor’s outfit and dance in the middle of the street.” Suzy also said she would dance, but didn’t go into further details.

“While You Were Sleeping” is the story of Nam Hong Joo (played by Suzy) who can predict unfortunate events in her dreams and Jung Jae Chan (played by Lee Jong Suk), the prosecutor that works to stop her premonitions from becoming a reality.

The drama is coming exclusively to Rakuten Viki! Check out the newest trailer below:
