Regardless of what you may believe, there are people who have seen or at least felt ghosts. Celebrities, especially, have a lot of creepy experience such as seeing ghosts with their own eyes. Following are the 10 times celebrities had terrifying experience with ghosts.

Be warned, this may mean no sleeping tonight!

1. IU and the manager

Singer IU saw a ghost when she was recording her song “YOU&I.”

When she saw her manager walking into the recording room and followed him there, she found out that the recording room was empty. She asked the engineer where her manager went, but he replied, “There were only two of us all along,” even though IU thought she had been with her manager up until then.

A moment later, just like the engineer had said, her manager walked out of a completely different room. IU’s entire body froze for a while because she was so scared.

2. Yoo Seung Ho and the ghost outside the window

Actor Yoo Seung Ho saw a ghost while filming the movie “The Way Home.”

At the time, he was sleeping on the first floor of the lodgings in the countryside. When he woke up in the middle of the night, he saw a ghost staring at him from outside the small window of the house.

Yoo Seung Ho said that although it happened when he was young, he still remembers the ghost as if he had seen it yesterday.

3. Choo Sung Hoon and the ghost that spoke to him

Martial artist Choo Sung Hoon also had a scary experience in the middle of the day.

As he was standing at an intersection in Tokyo waiting for the signals to change, he saw a person wearing long sleeves even though it was summer. He thought, “Wearing long sleeves when it’s so hot, is it a ghost?”

When the signals changed and he was walking across the street, the person in the long sleeves walked past Choo Sung Hoon and said, “How did you know?”

Choo Sung Hoon reminisced that he was so scared he couldn’t even move.

4. Jo Jung Suk and the cleaning lady

Actor Jo Jung Suk saw a ghost in the building when he was performing in the musical “Grease.”

He was sleeping in the waiting area before the evening show when the cleaning lady woke him up. The lady pointed to an area, saying, “It’s cold, so go in and sleep.”

But the area she pointed to was ridiculously small, impossible for a person to fit into. Jo Jung Suk felt that something was strange even though he had just woken up from his sleep.

Later, he heard that two cleaning ladies had been killed in an accident during the construction of that building.

5. Yang Se Hyung and the ghost in his house

Yang Se Hyung, who says he believes in ghosts, has had some terrifying experiences in his house.

Once, he was having a nightmare in the house that he lived in with his brother. He saw next to his brother a ghost that looked like a middle school student. He quickly yelled at his brother, causing the ghost to look at Yang Se Hyung. The ghost stared at him for a long time as if it was wondering if he could see it. The ghost then disappeared.

The creepy experience didn’t stop there. The scariest thing happened when Yang Se Hyung paused a movie he was watching by himself at home. The movie kept on playing by itself, jumping to the previous scenes, and the volume started growing. He ran out of the house, completely scared.

6. Soyou and the elevator

Singer Soyou saw a ghost while she was with her friends.

She was waiting for the elevator with two other SISTAR members she had been practicing with. When the elevator opened, Soyou became alarmed; the person in the elevator had jumped out and stood right in front of her face.

Soyou screamed in surprise, but the members asked her, “What’s the matter?” It turns out nobody had seen the person in the elevator except Soyou.

7. Hong Jin Young and the ghost she chased away

Singer Hong Jin Young had been hearing loud thumping noises from her ceiling at night. She didn’t think too much of it and thought they were noises from the floor above, but she got goosebumps when she realized one day that she lived on the top floor of her apartment.

Hong Jin Young had also seen a ghost in her house. She woke up from her sleep feeling strange and saw a female ghost standing by the door. Hong Jin Young, however, was extremely tired at the moment and cursed at the ghost for several minutes, finally making the ghost leave.

8. Moon Chae Won and the red-lipped ghost

Actress Moon Chae Won saw a horrifying ghost on top of her mother.

She was taking a nap with her mother in the middle of the day listening to music on her MP3 player. She woke up suddenly feeling nervous and looked at her mother sleeping next to her.

A ghost in the form of a person was floating on top of her sleeping mother. What was even more terrifying was that the ghost’s mouth began to gradually rip, filling the inside of its mouth with red blood.

Moon Chae Won woke up her mother, screaming with all her strength, and the ghost disappeared immediately. When she picked up her MP3 player, however, more than 300 songs that had been in it were erased.

9. Kim Shin Young and the baby ghost

Comedian Kim Shin Young often slept in a sleeping bag in small theaters when she wasn’t as popular.

One day as she was trying to sleep behind the stage, she heard thumping footsteps and opened her eyes. There was a baby ghost with its eyes and lips’ positions reversed running around in front of her.

Kim Shin Young revealed she was so scared that she couldn’t even stand up.

10. Ji Jin Hee and the ghosts in Hong Kong

Actor Ji Jin Hee almost died because of ghosts. When he was sleeping at a hotel in Hong Kong with a person from his company, he felt that someone was tapping his butt. He turned around, thinking that his colleague was pulling a prank on him, but there were six ghosts standing behind him.

The ghosts, however, didn’t turn scary at all. They changed their voices to people whom Ji Jin Hee knew well and coaxed him, “Let’s go play together.”

When Ji Jin Hee refused, the ghost that looked like the leader of the bunch started pushing him down hard. Ji Jin Hee stayed still, knowing he couldn’t win against the ghost. After a while, the ghosts left through the windows, saying, “It’s not fun.”

Ji Jin Hee recalled that the room he was staying in was on the 23rd floor. “I would have fallen straight down and died if I had followed them,” he said.
