Updated September 28 KST:
The first episode of “20th Century Boy and Girl” has chosen a new date!
Although it was revealed on September 25 that the drama will be starting on October 2 instead of September 25, it has now been pushed back an additional week to October 9.
The production team commented, “We ask for the understanding of viewers who have been waiting for the broadcast of ’20th Century Boy and Girl,’ and we will try our best to perfect it through more meticulous post-production in order to satisfy viewers.”
“20th Century Boy and Girl” will be airing a week later than planned.
The new drama was scheduled to air its first episode on September 25, but MBC’s broadcast schedule for the day shows that a rerun of short drama “Romance Full of Life” will be airing instead.
A source from MBC commented, “Due to the filming schedule, the air date for the first episode has been adjusted.” The first episode will now air on October 2.
Although all MBC variety shows have paused production, “20th Century Boy and Girl” is the first drama to be affected by the MBC strike. Previously, filming for the drama was halted from September 4 to 16.
