Two new dramas have officially joined the battle for viewership ratings in the Wednesday-Thursday time slot. Both tvN’s “Avengers Social Club” and KBS 2TV’s “Mad Dog” premiered on October 11.
tvN’s all-female lead drama “Avengers Social Club” premiered at 9:30 p.m. and recorded 2.9 percent ratings with a peak of 3.7 percent in viewership ratings. For ratings among viewers aged 20 to 49, the drama recorded 1.1 percent with a peak of 1.4 percent.
KBS’s “Mad Dog” premiered at 10 p.m. and recorded viewership ratings of 5.5 percent nationwide, the lowest ratings of its time slot. However, it is still 3.1 percent higher than the premiere ratings of KBS’s previous drama “Manhole.”
Meanwhile, other dramas in the same time slot included SBS’s “While You Were Sleeping” which recorded 8.1 percent during the first half and 9.4 percent during the second half of the night, and MBC’s “Hospital Ship” which recorded 7.5 percent during its first half and 9.3 during its second half.
