TWICE Records Highest First Week Sales For K-Pop Girl Group In Japan

TWICE’s new original Japanese single is a hit in Japan!

On October 18, TWICE released their single album “One More Time” in Japan, and took over the Oricon daily chart with 94,957 units sold in the first day, the highest yet for a K-pop girl group in the country.

In the second day, the single album remained at No. 1 with 43,412 units sold. Together, “One More Time” sold a total of 138,369 units in the first two days. TWICE’s single album has therefore set a new record for first week sales among K-pop girl groups who’ve entered the Japanese market, in just two days.

Meanwhile, TWICE is currently gearing up for a comeback in Korea on October 30 with their first full album “Twicetagram,” which will include the title track “Likey.”
