Winners Announced For 2017 Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards

On October 30, the Korea Creative Content Agency announced the winners for the 2017 Korean Popular Culture & Arts Awards.

The 28 winners are as follows:

Order of Cultural Merits:

Nam Jin (singer), Park Geun Hyung (actor), Yoon Yeo Jung (actress), Kim Ji Suk (film programmer), Lee Kyung Kyu (comedian/MC), Lee Geum Lim (writer)

President Commendation:

Kim Mi Hwa (comedian), Son Hyun Joo (actor), Kim Sang Joong (actor), Cha Seung Won (actor), Yang Ji Woon (voice actor), Ha Ji Young (writer), Bunny Girls (1970s girl group)

Prime Minister Commendation:

Kim Jong Suk (comedian), Song Hong Sub (musician), Lee Eung Bok (PD), Jang Yoo Jin (voice actor), EXO, Jinusean’s Sean, Jang Yoon Jung (singer), Ji Sung (actor)

Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation:

Namgoong Min (actor), Park Bo Gum (actor), Ra Mi Ran (actress), Park Bo Young (actress), TWICE, BTOB, Lee Sun Jin (model)

The awards ceremony will be held on November 3 with JTBC reporter Jang Sung Gyu and Red Velvet’s Irene as the MCs. It will be broadcast via JTBC2 and Naver V Live.
