On December 10, the Korean Business Research Institute announced the newest ranking for brand reputation among boy groups.
The ranking is based on the analysis of consumers’ participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes for 90,310,255 pieces of big data from November 8 to December 9. This is a 14.01 percent increase from the 79,213,653 pieces of big data analyzed for the November ranking.
Wanna One maintained first place in the ranking with a total brand reputation score of 15,619,284, which is a 43.92 percent increase from their November score of 10,852,627. “Cute,” “Like,” and “Precious” are words that ranked high for the link analysis of Wanna One, while “Kang Daniel,” “Park Ji Hoon,” and “Ong Sung Woo” ranked high for their keyword analysis. The positivity-negativity analysis found that reactions towards the Wanna One brand are 87.51 percent positive.
BTS and EXO maintained their spots in second and third place, respectively. BTS’s total brand reputation score is 14,121,922, and EXO’s total brand reputation score is 8,055,010.
GOT7’s brand reputation score increased notably this month. Their total score for December is 6,337,439, which is a 294.69 percent increase from their November score of 1,605,683. Their ranking rose from No. 13 to No. 4.
