Kahi appeared on the latest episode of KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman” with her son Noah.
On the January 28 broadcast of the show, Lee Hwi Jae and his twin sons Seo Eon and Seo Jun visited Kahi’s house. During the interview, Lee Hwi Jae explained that he met Kahi in 1998, when he was the MC for KBS’s “Music Bank.” She was a high school student and backup dancer at the time. He said he had felt bad seeing the young backup dancers sitting in the hallway backstage, so he had bought them food and taken care of them.
The longtime friends hugged each other and enjoyed a fun playdate with their sons. Lee Hwi Jae didn’t forget to thank Kahi for donating a stroller and mixer to the “The Return of Superman” flea market. Even though Noah only recently turned one, he was able to stand up and walk around the living room by himself. Shocked, Lee Hwi Jae commented that he seemed like a three-year-old, and Kahi replied that Noah started walking when he was 10 months old.
Curious to know what his son thought of Kahi, Lee Hwi Jae asked Seo Jun, “Do you think Daddy’s friend is a noona (older sister) or an aunt?” Seo Jun shyly answered, “Noona.” Lee Hwi Jae then asked him what he thought Kahi’s job was and Seo Jun surprised everyone by replying, “Singing.”
Lee Hwi Jae told his son that while Kahi was good at singing, she was also great at dancing. Seo Eon showed off his dance moves to SEVENTEEN’s “Clap” and the “Produce 101 Season 1” theme song “Pick Me.” Afterwards, he shyly asked Kahi what she thought of his dancing skills. Kahi praised him, giving him a score of 99 and saying, “I think you have an outstanding sense of rhythm.”
Noah was delighted to meet the twins and smiled throughout the entire episode. In return, Seo Eon and Seo Jun took care of Noah by holding up his bottle, tickling him, and playing with him.
