LOONA has shared a mysterious video that has led to lots of fan theories!
On February 16 at midnight KST, the pre-debut girl group released a new teaser video. The video is titled “2018.2.29,” and features only what looks like a solar eclipse with clouds passing by. The video, which is exactly 29 seconds long, then reads the date “2018.2.29” and the group’s Korean name.
With very little information to go by at this point, fans are wondering whether the teaser is for a third sub-unit, LOONA’s final member, or even possibly the full group’s debut. The mystery is heightened by the fact that there is no February 29 in 2018.
Fans have hit Twitter to share their theories and express just how confused they are!

This teaser could possibly have revealed their debut date. February 29th in the lunar calendar is actually april 14th so is this what this all is? will loona debut on april 14th?

– There isn't 29 February this year
– The eclipse uses the mobius color
– As I mentioned few days ago this could symbolize that BBC might debut as whole unit then sub unit later (full eclipse = full moon)

LOONA is an upcoming girl group under the agency Blockberry Creative with a planned lineup of twelve members. Ahead of their debut, the group’s been introducing themselves through both individual and sub-unit releases, with the members being revealed one by one.
The most recent member to be introduced to fans was Go Won last month, who is the eleventh member so far.
