When a drama’s main couple has a lot of chemistry, it makes it that much more easier to believe in their love story and it also makes every interaction they have adorable. This past year marked a lot of couples who exuded this chemistry and made it easy for viewers to pretty much ship them enough to hope for a real-life romance. They were that adorable.

Here’s a look at 10 K-drama OTPs from 2017 who showed us the cutest moments that we still can’t get over.

Jung So Min and Lee Min Ki in “Because This Is My First Life

Jung So Min plays the naive dreamer, Ji Ho, who ends up in a contract marriage with the stoic and tough-to-read Nam Se Hee (Lee Min Ki). Because this relationship starts out as being strictly business, when they do start to open up to each other and accept each other’s feelings, everything that they do together is adorable. They end up falling in love with each other and their romance is so believable, thanks to their sizzling chemistry. Sometimes, it’s too cute to bear.

What makes this particular couple extra adorable is how much Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun) is head over heels for Noh Ji Wook (Ji Chang Wook). It is entertaining to see this couple’s romantic relationship blossom throughout the series, and when Ji Wook accepts that he has deeper feelings for Bong Hee, it makes it all the more worthwhile. As they get older, they continue to be there for each other through bad breakups, failed attempts at achieving their dreams, and through family problems. Through it all, they are able to be each other’s light in their difficult lives. Here’s a couple of their cute interactions with each other:

This too-good-to-be-true couple, Do Bong Soon (Park Bo Young) and Ahn Min Hyuk (Park Hyung Sik) are definitely not short of cute moments. Pretty much any time they are on screen is cute enough to coddle over. Here’s a look at a few of the hundreds of adorable moments these two shared on-screen.

Kim Sejeong plays Ra Eun Ho, a high school girl who has big dreams. Kim Jung Hyun plays Hyun Tae Woon, a student who is living with lots of baggage. The two are worlds apart, but end up falling in love with each other throughout the series. They’re there for each other through all the hard times and it’s the perfect first love story, one that the two main leads played perfectly. You really do end up loving them to bits!

Kim Go Eun and Gong Yoo in “Goblin

Probably one of the more unique stories from 2017, “Goblin” tells the tale of a goblin named Kim Shin (Gong Yoo) and his bride-to-be, Ji Eun Tak (Kim Go Eun). Although there is quite a bit of an age gap, as the Goblin is hundreds of years older and his future bride is a high-school student, you are really able to feel the angst and pain of the two as they slowly fall deeper in love. Despite the serious love story, there are a lot of light-hearted and charming moments between the two throughout the series.

Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung in “Bride of the Water God

Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung play lovers in this fantasy rom-com. Their relationship develops very quickly into the passionate cant-live-without-each-other type love and it is especially enjoyable to watch as there are a lot of comedic moments involved. One thing is for certain, Nam Joo Hyuk and Shin Se Kyung look absolutely adorable together!

In terms of visuals, we knew that when Kim So Hyun and Yoo Seung Ho were cast as the two main leads for “Ruler: Master of the Mask,” it was pretty close to perfection. But visuals aside, it’s really their acting abilities and completely effortless chemistry that the two share as lovers that make this drama so good. There are too many moments in this drama that are not only cute, but so romantic.
