“Cheese In The Trap” Trailer Surpasses 2.4 Million Views Ahead Of Film’s Much-Anticipated Release

The upcoming film adaptation of “Cheese in the Trap” has been getting a lot of attention ahead of its premiere next month!

The trailer for “Cheese in the Trap” was released on February 13, and it features a glimpse of the top star cast taking on the famous roles in the story, which is based on the popular webtoon of the same name. The lineup includes Park Hae Jin reprising his role as Yoo Jung (which he played in the drama adaptation), Oh Yeon Seo playing the story’s heroine Hong Seol, Park Ki Woong acting as Baek In Ho, Yoo In Young taking the role of Baek In Ha, and Sandara Park playing Jang Bo Ra.

The trailer features spotlights on each of the four main characters and their relationships, with edits to make the scenes appear as though they were drawn in a webtoon. In the beginning, Hong Seol is heard thinking about Yoo Jung, “That smile. He’s popular wherever he goes. But I’m sure there’s a side to him that others don’t know.”

The trailer goes on to show clips including Yoo Jung inviting Hong Seol to eat with him, which leads to him showing his famous inability to easily unwrap a seaweed and rice triangle (samgak kimbap).

Yoo Jung later holds Hong Seol’s hand and asks her, “Will you date me?” Hong Seol then thinks to herself, “The suspicious senior started doing suspicious things.”

Recently, the trailer surpassed 2.4 million views, showing the level of interest in the movie before its premiere.

“Cheese in the Trap” will hit theaters in Korea on March 14.
