MBC’s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama “Tempted” has released a new preview!
“Tempted” will tell the story of young men and women playing a dangerous game of love. The drama is based on the classic French novel “Dangerous Liaisons,” which was previously adapted into the American film of the same name, as well as “Cruel Intentions,” “Valmont,” and the Korean film “Untold Scandal.”
The preview starts off with a female voice-over describing Kwon Shi Hyun (played by Woo Do Hwan). The voice-over says, “Do you remember Kwon Shi Hyun? He’s a better guy than I thought. He’s kind, thoughtful, handsome, and cool.”
In contrast to her friend, Eun Tae Hee (played by Red Velvet’s Joy) talks disapprovingly of love and says, “What’s so great about men anyway? Will you die if you don’t date?”
However, her attitude quickly changes as she becomes enamored of Kwon Shi Hyun, who shows up at her house holding a rose and says romantic things like “I came because I was worried about you” and “At this point, isn’t it safe to say that we’re meant to be?”
After becoming flustered when she runs into him on the bus, Eun Tae Hee asks her friend worriedly, “Do you think I made it obvious that my heart was pounding?”
With a smug expression, Kwon Shi Hyun leans back in his chair and says, “How can she not like me? She’s definitely going to pay attention to me.”
“Tempted” premieres on March 12 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available with English subtitles on Viki.
