They both made memorable appearances on the show, with Defconn in particular appearing numerous times as one of the “eighth” members since 2011.
Defconn first appeared on “Infinite Challenge” at the last-minute request of his close friend Jung Hyung Don. Since then, he has been a part of several notable specials, including “Infinite News,” “My Ugly Friend,” and the program’s regular song festivals. The show also marked the start of Defconn’s continuing variety show appearances as both a host and regular cast member.
When asked how he felt about the program’s indefinite hiatus, Defconn stated, “‘Infinite Challenge’ was the stage of dreams for many celebrities. Because it was a precious program that gifted me hopes and dreams as well, it’s even more regretful. However, I have no doubt that we will meet again. More than anything, I want to deeply thank the cast members and production crew for the love and consideration they have given me.”
Yoo Hee Yeol guested on the program in 2013 and collaborated with Yoo Jae Suk for that year’s song festival. He was also invited to appear on one of the “My Ugly Friend” specials, but unfortunately could not appear at the time.
“I’m not sure if ‘it’s regretful’ would be the right way to address these people who have made us happy every Saturday night for over 10 years,” Yoo Hee Yeol carefully expressed. “I will wait for Saturdays where everyone can be happier and move forward from the efforts they made during an unfathomable amount of time.”
“Infinite Challenge” will be going on indefinite hiatus after its upcoming March 31 broadcast. Check out the latest episode:
