On the April 15 episode of KBS’s “Gag Concert,” three UNB members made special cameo appearances in three of the skits.
Feeldog appeared on “Beauty Ing-side,” Kijoong in “Proxy Part-Time,” and Chan in “Come on Up Show” [literal translations]. This is UNB’s second appearance on the show, after Jun, Euijin, and Marco made cameos in last week’s segments.
In the dressing room just before they went on stage, Chan said, “When we did the read-through and rehearsals, I felt like I was in the presence of real celebrities and couldn’t believe I was on the same stage as them. I thought that I needed to do well and not make mistakes so that I could come on the show again.”
Kijoong said, “I’m still really nervous but I intend to work hard and with confidence for the comedian seniors and the UNB members. I want to end the performance successfully and have UNB show up on the realtime search rankings.”
Feeldog added, “I want to harmonize well with the comedians as a one-day comedian instead of just being a guest promoting something else.”
In Feeldog’s skit, he wooed comedian Kang Yoo Mi with his cute antics, dance moves, and general good looks.
In Kijoong’s skit, he was one of a group of people hired to pretend to be an enthusiastic audience for a busking artist. He impressed the audience with his deadpan delivery (for example, he kept saying that he had been training for 30 years despite only being 18) and showed off his beatboxing skills and danced to a cover of Sunmi’s “Gashina.”
In Chan’s skit, he immediately gave off a romantic vibe by appearing onstage with a single red rose and followed it up with a beautiful serenade. He then had to prove his ability in acting (which he did by copying another comedian on the stage with him) and dancing. However, the true test came when a comedian came out dressed like a cat (dancing to AOA’s “Like a Cat”) and Chan had to fight to keep a straight face as he was “seduced” by the new addition.
