Watch: Jang Hyuk, Jung Ryeo Won, And Junho Promise A Delicious Spring Romance In New “Wok Of Love” Teasers

Upcoming SBS drama “Wok of Love” has released new teasers ahead of its premiere.

“Wok of Love” will be a romantic comedy about a chef named Seo Poong (played by 2PM’s Junho) who goes from working at a famous hotel restaurant to a small, neighborhood restaurant, a loan shark who recently got out of prison named Doo Chil Sung (played by Jang Hyuk), and the daughter of a rich family who falls in loves with black bean paste noodles, named Dan Sae Woo (played by Jung Ryeo Won).

Jang Hyuk starts the first teaser by saying, “It’s spring. Spring is here.” Jung Ryeo Won appears followed by the words, “For you who is hungry for love on a spring day.” Holding a wok and a ladle, Junho announces, “I am Seo Poong, the chef of Giant Hotel’s Chinese restaurant.”

Jung Ryeo Won then clasps her hands together and asks, “I really can’t stand it. Can’t you make it for me?” and asks for black bean noodles. As if he’s responding to her, Junho promises he’ll make her noodles with a sweet smile.

The second teaser is in the format of a moving magazine cover. Each cast member appears to be posing for a pictorial and gives a short description of the drama.

Junho poses with a bowl of black bean paste noodles and says, “I think it’s a very refreshing topic for TV.”

Jung Ryeo Won adds, “It’s a delicious, cheerful, and fun drama that will make viewers want to eat.” Jang Hyuk concludes, “Like the name, it’s a rich melodrama. We’ll come to you with a steamy, fun drama.”

“Wok of Love” will premiere on May 7 at 10 p.m. KST, and it will be available on Viki!
