KBS has lifted the ban on Tak Jae Hoon that barred him from appearing on their broadcasts.
On April 20, a source from KBS stated, “The restriction on Tak Jae Hoon’s broadcast activities was lifted on April 18.”
The entertainer was banned from appearing on all three public broadcasting stations (KBS, SBS, and MBC) in 2014 after he was sentenced to six months in prison with one year’s probation for illegal gambling.
After a two-year hiatus, Tak Jae Hoon made his return to the Korean entertainment industry in 2016 on channels like Mnet and Channel A. In the same year, his ban was lifted from MBC (he appeared on “Radio Star” in April) and SBS (he appeared in a pilot episode in July).
Tak Jae Hoon’s first appearance on KBS in five years (his last appearance was on “Moonlight Prince” in 2013) will be on April 21 on the show “1 Percent Friendship.” The KBS source confirmed the news and added that he would be appearing with Jang Seung Jo.
