1. A new fantasy-related concept, the countdown clock on people’s lives
The drama will be introducing a new element into the fantasy genre, the countdown clock on people’s lives. Choi Michaela has the ability to see how much time is left in people’s lives and has knowledge of how much time is left in her life. Through the clocks imprinted on various parts of people’s bodies, the drama will convey a precious, earnest perspective on life and will also introduce a variety of surprises.
2. The chemistry between Lee Sang Yoon and Lee Sung Kyung
The two actors will be portraying a dense, yet detailed romance about fate. Choi Michaela, who has little time left to live, will show her adorable art of seduction towards her target Lee Do Ha, while he will slowly and gradually change from the cold and chic man he is, into something more. Their magnetic chemistry will create an interesting romance, which will become even more complicated with the addition of Lee Do Ha’s fiancée Bae Soo Bong (played by Im Se Mi).
3. The competitive yet beautiful world of musicals
In the drama, Choi Michaela is an aspiring musical actress who works hard to perform on the stage of her dreams while Lee Do Ha is the director of MK Culture Company, which sponsors these musicals. Other characters that enter into the fierce world of musicals are genius musical director Jo Jae Yoo (played by Kim Dong Jun) and Choi Michaela’s best friend and assistant musical director Jeon Sung Hee (played by Han Seung Yeon). The drama will also follow the musical actors as they put their blood, sweat, and tears into pulling off incredible performances.
4. Director Kim Hyung Sik’s amazing emotional strength
“About Time” will be headed by veteran director Kim Hyung Sik, who also worked on popular dramas such as “Sign,” “Ghost,” “The Suspicious Housemaid,” “Secret Door,” and “Twenty Again.” This will be his first drama comeback in two years, raising anticipation for another well-made drama filled with detail and emotion.
