"The King Loves" Teases A Roller Coaster Of Emotions For Upcoming Episode In New Preview Stills

MBC’s “The King Loves” has shared two new contrasting sets of stills from the drama!

In the beginning of the drama, Wang Won (Im Siwan) had hidden his true self from King Chungnyeol (Jung Bo Suk) and pretended to be less intelligent and ambitious than he really was. However, as King Chungnyeol began to threaten Wang Won’s love interest Eun San (YoonA), Wang Won ended up revealing his darker side.

The new stills show Wang Won looking down on the King with threatening eyes. King Chungnyeol stares back at him with mixed feelings of anger and fear. He angrily grabs Wang Won by the collar, but the look in his eyes indicates that he is afraid.

The next set of stills give off a completely different feeling, as Wang Won, Eun San, and Wang Rin (Hong Jong Hyun) enjoy a playful walk in the woods where flowers have blossomed beautifully.

The three escape from the rigid relationship of a crown prince and a bodyguard and have fun like they’ve returned to their childhood.
