Watch: Choi Tae Joon Questions Reality And Happiness In Trailer For New Drama

Upcoming SBS drama “EXIT” has revealed its first teaser.

“EXIT” is a two-part fantasy drama about a man named Kang Soo (played by Choi Tae Joon) who has never experienced happiness in his life. Kang Soo lives a depressing life working under Capital Company CEO Hwang Tae Bok (played by Park Ho San) in order to repay the debt of his father Do Jung Man (played by Woo Hyun).

Desiring a chance to experience happiness for just one second, he crosses paths with neurosurgeon Woo Jae Hee (played by Bae Hae Sun) and lives in a world between fantasy and reality.

In the trailer, Choi Tae Joon lies on a hospital bed with his eyes closed and wires connected to his head. His own voice warns, “Don’t trust it. If you suddenly have unimaginable good luck all at once, don’t trust anything, and you must find out what’s real. Before it’s too late.”

As he says the line above, the clip shows hints of a seemingly perfect life. Choi Tae Joon opens a locker filled with cash, presents his girlfriend with a ring, takes a family photo with his family and girlfriend, and smiles as he throws cash up into the air.

HIs happiness is short-lived as Choi Tae Joon chases and gets chased by someone before grabbing his head in pain. After counting from one to three, he abruptly opens his eyes while lying on the hospital bed.

“EXIT” will air on April 30 and May 1 at 10 p.m. KST and will be available on Viki. Watch the trailer with English subtitles below!
