Gong Myung And Girl's Day's Sojin To Star In New JTBC Drama Special

Gong Myung and Girl’s Day’s Sojin will be starring in a new single-episode JTBC drama special called “The Essence of Happiness” (working title), with filming set to begin next week.

The drama is about the small happinesses that the people of today enjoy, following Jin Soo (Gong Myung), who works to overcome everyday stressors with 12 small sources of happiness, and his romance with a woman, Jung Soo (Sojin), who appears to him during his time of modest happiness.

Gong Myung previously showed his acting prowess in tvN’s “Drinking Solo,” “Bride of the Water God,” and “Revolutionary Love.” Sojin also has acting experience under her belt, with SBS’s “Family Is Coming” and TV Chosun’s “The Greatest Marriage.”

“The Essence of Happiness” will air over the Chuseok vacation.
