Watch: Idols Cheer On Students Taking The College Entrance Exam
With many Korean students in their final year of high school taking the college entrance exam on November 15, idols have shared their support for their fans as they get ready for what may be the most important test in their lives!
Many idols have uploaded posts and videos to cheer on students as they prepare. Some of them looked back on the time when they were taking the exam and sympathized with their nervous fans. Others also shared tips for test-takers such as items they should definitely bring to the exam site, like their test ID slip, identification card, and a packed lunch. Many also suggested that fans dress warmly and bring snacks or tea.
WINNER’s Kang Seung Yoon encouraged fans by saying, “Let’s meet at a college music festival!” Kim Chae Won of IZ*ONE said, “IZ*ONE will cheer you on and hope that you receive the good results you deserve after preparing for such a long time!”
B1A4’s Jinyoung told fans, “Don’t be nervous, and I hope you’ll do well, just as you’ve been doing!” NU’EST W’s JR said, “You’ve worked so hard. I hope that our L.O.Λ.Es will only walk a flower path in the future.”
IU shared a video that was filmed as though she was making a personal video call to her fans to cheer them on, telling them to take their time during the test and double check. She also joked that she hopes that their results will reflect a mark that’s even a bit better than expected because of good luck when choosing the answers.
Apink’s Son Naeun told fans, “Apink is cheering you on so that you’ll do well and be accepted into the college of your choice.”
On Instagram, EXO’s Chanyeol shared a screenshot of his posts from 2016 and 2017, remarking on how time flies each year and commenting that he’s praying that students will be able to show everything they prepared up until now, no matter what the results are.
GOT7 also shared personal handwritten messages from each of the members on Instagram to cheer on their fans. Youngjae wrote, “Don’t feel too pressured, believe in yourself, and do it like you’ve been doing! Hang in there!” Jackson told fans to be relaxed while taking the test, because it’s worse if they’re stressed out, while JB assured fans that all seven of the members are behind them supporting them.
In a video, BTS shared that they hope everyone will get a good night’s sleep before the test so they can take it in the best condition, while J-Hope joked that fans should forget about BTS during the exam. Suga added that fans should remember that when they’re done the test, they can go see their film “Burn the Stage.”
