Watch: Lee Seung Gi Breathlessly Thanks Fans And Viewers In Video Message After His Daesang Win

After winning the Daesang (grand prize) at the 2018 SBS Entertainment Awards, Lee Seung Gi shared his excitement and gratitude in a special video message!

On December 29, Lee Seung Gi took to Instagram to post a video that he had filmed after the award ceremony the night before.

The clip begins with the star holding his trophy and breathlessly exclaiming, “Hello, this is Lee Seung Gi. Wow, Daesang. I didn’t know how much weight these two syllables would hold. Thank you so much.”

He went on, “If I happened to forget anyone during my acceptance speech, please don’t feel sad,” before adding with a laugh, “What I’m certain of is that I definitely mentioned my fans. I remember that for sure.”

“Again, thank you so much,” continued Lee Seung Gi. “It’s really thanks to all of you that I received this award. Thank you for loving ‘Master in the House,’ and I hope that you will send ‘Master in the House’ lots of energy and love in 2019, so that it can rise to even greater heights. Thank you! Thank you!”

Lee Seung Gi also wrote in the caption, “The 2018 SBS Entertainment Daesang, which is more than I deserve! Thank you. To all the fans who loved ‘Master in the House’ and gave me this unforgettable moment as a gift…”
