Actress Chae Rim's Agency Addresses Reports Of Her Divorce With Gao Zi Qi

Actress Chae Rim’s agency has reponded to reports of her divorce with Chinese actor Gao Zi Qi.

Recently, Chinese news outlets reported that Chae Rim and Gao Zi Qi had divorced the previous year. They explained that Chae Rim had deleted most of her posts on Weibo and unfollowed everyone, adding that Gao Zi Qi also wrote on his Weibo, “Many things happened the past year and I’ve gone through a lot.”

On March 11, Chae Rim’s agency Hunus Entertainment denied the reports, and stated as follows:

Hello, this is Hunus Entertainment.

Upon checking with Chae Rim about the reports from Chinese outlets, we announce that the reports are not true. We had not felt the necessity to respond to these reports, but because these rumors are being reported in Korean media as if they are true, we are relaying an official statement.

We thank you for your interest and will return soon with a new project for Chae Rim.

Meanwhile, Chae Rim and Gao Zi Qi starred in the 2013 Chinese drama “The Lee Family” together, where they played a married couple. They later developed into a couple, tied the knot in 2014, and welcomed their first child in December 2017.
