KBS 2TV’s suspenseful medical drama “Doctor Prisoner” is still going strong!

On April 11, tvN’s new romantic comedy “Her Private Life” aired its second episode, staking out its position in a fierce battle for Wednesday-Thursday drama ratings. The new drama stars Park Min Young as Sung Duk Mi, a professional curator at an art gallery who leads a secret double life as a devoted idol fan, and Kim Jae Wook as Ryan Gold, Sung Duk Mi’s brusque boss who ends up finding out about her hobby.

According to Nielsen Korea, the second episode of the drama scored average viewership ratings of 2.410 percent nationwide and 2.921 percent in the Seoul metropolitan area, marking a slight decrease from its premiere the night before.

Meanwhile, “Doctor Prisoner” remained the most-watched Wednesday-Thursday drama of the evening, scoring average nationwide ratings of 12.5 percent during its first half and 14.7 percent during its second. “Doctor Prisoner” also achieved its highest viewership ratings yet in the Seoul metropolitan area, where it scored average ratings of 13.6 percent and 16.2 percent for the night.

MBC’s “The Banker” scored average nationwide ratings of 4.4 percent and 5.2 percent for its two parts, while SBS’s “Big Issue” trailed with ratings of 2.4 percent and 3.3 percent for the evening.
