Jang Woo Hyuk And More Confirmed For 2nd Season Of Successful Dating Reality Show

Four cast members have been confirmed for the second season of TV Chosun’s dating reality program “Taste of Dating.”

“Taste of Dating” is a show in which single celebrities are matched with partners that fit their ideal types and go on dates for 100 days together. The first season featured celebrities like Lee Pil Mo, Kim Jong Min, and Goo Jun Yeop.

The show garnered a lot of attention after Lee Pil Mo and Seo Soo Yeon, who met through the show, decided to get married in real life. Recently, Seo Soo Yeon announced that she is pregnant with the couple’s first child.

Starring in the second season are Jang Woo Hyuk, Ko Joo Won, Oh Chang Suk, and Lee Hyung Chul. Jang Woo Hyuk debuted with H.O.T in 1996, joined JTL with Tony Ahn and Lee Jae Won in 2001, and is known as a multitalented entertainer who belongs to the first generation of K-pop idols. In a recent TV appearance, Jang Woo Hyuk showed off his bachelor pad but shared that he had been feeling lonely because of his single life.

Ko Joo Won had also appeared in the first season of “Taste of Dating,” going on dates with Kim Bo Mi. However, Kim Bo Mi moved to Jeju Island and the couple’s fate was left uncertain. Since “Taste of Dating,” Ko Joo Won has furthered his career by making appearances in dramas such as “Love in Sadness” and “Haechi.”

Oh Chang Suk is an actor who is known for graduating with a degree in industrial design. He debuted in the 2008 drama “Worlds Within” and is known for his roles in “Princess Aurora,” “Jang Bo Ri Is Here,” “Defendant,” and “Rich Man, Poor Woman.” He also attended Lee Pil Mo and Seo Soo Yeon’s wedding.

Lee Hyung Chul will be the oldest member of the Season 2 cast. He debuted in 1995 and became known for resembling the Hollywood actor George Clooney. He has appeared in dramas like “Pasta” and “City Hall,” as well as many variety shows where he talked about wanting to break free of his single status.

The production staff of “Taste of Dating” stated, “Their ages may be different, but they all want to experience the kind of dating that makes your heart beat faster. Please tune in to see whether Jang Woo Hyuk, Ko Joo Won, Oh Chang Suk, and Lee Hyung Chul are able to find true love and whether they can make that love come true. The second season of “Taste of Dating” premieres on May 23 at 11 p.m. KST.
