Highlight's Son Dongwoon Receives Award For Being Top Soldier During Training + Yang Yoseob Attends Ceremony

Highlight’s Son Dongwoon has completed his military training with excellent results!

On May 9, Son Dongwoon entered the Nonsan Army Recruit Training Center in South Chungcheong Province, where he received basic military training. Son Dongwoon completed his training on June 6 as the top soldier and even received a commendation from the army training director.

Son Dongwoon’s family members, Highlight member Yang Yoseob, and staff from Around US Entertainment attended the completion ceremony.

The singer will receive his military assignment after completing three weeks of conscripted policeman training at Baekje Police Academy.

Son Dongwoon is the final Highlight member to enlist in the military following Yoon Doojoon who enlisted in August 2018, Yang Yoseob in January, and Lee Gikwang in April. Before enlisting, he was busy releasing a solo album, holding a solo concert, performing in musicals, and more. Recently, he shared his first letter to fans from the military.
