TOP Media To Take Legal Action Against Malicious Commenters

TOP Media will be taking steps to protect its artists.

On August 27, the agency posted a notice on its website.

The full statement is below:

Hello. This is TOP Media.

We have confirmed that malicious posts with personal attacks, defamation, sexual harassment, and slander are being recklessly spread about our agency’s artists.

We have filed a complaint and requested a formal investigation with the cyber investigation team against netizens who created or spread reckless, malicious posts as described above for violations of the Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection at the Seoul Gangnam Police Station.

Through continuous monitoring, we will do our best to protect the rights and interests of our agency’s artists, and we will respond strongly to reckless, malicious posts.

TOP Media houses artists including Shinhwa’s Andy and Eric, UP10TION, Teen Top, and 100%.
