4 Characters In "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency" That Pique Viewers' Curiosity

JTBC’s Monday-Tuesday drama “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” has been receiving much love and attention since it began airing, even topping the list of buzzworthy TV dramas two weeks in a row. Park Ji Hoon, who plays Go Young Soo, has been dominating the list of buzzworthy actors. However, aside from the main cast, the side characters are also captivating viewers, leaving them wanting to know more.

One of these characters is Kang (played by Jang Yoo Sang), the older brother of Gae Ddong (played by Gong Seung Yeon). He has been living as a servant under Kang Ji Hwa (played by Go Won Hee) ever since he was separated from his sister when they were young. Although he has the intelligence of a child and cannot recognize Gae Ddong, he stands by his vow to find her. Gae Ddong also takes her own steps to transform herself into a lady to find her precious brother.

There is also Hyun (played by Jung Eui Jae), who was ordered by Ma Bong Deok (played by Park Ho San) to kill the the woman who is to wed King Lee Soo (played by Seo Ji Hoon) and therefore threatens Gae Ddong’s life. He goes to great lengths to carry out his mission and boasts sharp martial arts skills. Viewers are curious to see how future developments will affect Hyun as he goes through this difficult task.

Another figure of note is Eunuch Jang (played by Ha Hoe Jung). It is still a mystery whether he is a reliable comrade of Lee Soo or an enemy with ulterior motives. As an adviser to Lee Soo after he took the throne, Eunuch Jang received a proposal from Ma Bong Deok to report to him on Lee Soo’s activities. He had no choice but to accept the offer in order to care for his sick parents, and thus, he struggles with the battle between reality and loyalty.

Finally, there is court lady Se Ah (played by Ahn Da Bi), who studies with Lee Soo every night. She first met Lee Soo when she found for him an ornamental hairpin he had lost, and she carries a painful backstory of having had to part with her betrothed. Therefore, she could not stand by and watch as Lee Soo longed for Gae Ddong and helped him escape the palace. Viewers are waiting to see if Se Ah will become a supporter who protects Lee Soo’s authority and love or someone who interferes.

“Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency” airs every Monday and Tuesday at 9:30 p.m. KST.
