Watch: Lovelyz’s Kei Wows Audience With Unique Musical-Like Performance On “Immortal Songs”
The November 2 broadcast of “Immortal Songs” featured songs composed by songwriter Park Sung Hoon and showcased performances from Lovely’s Kei, N.Flying’s Yoo Hwe Seung, Son Tae Jin, Go Young Yeol, and more.
Kei chose to perform Ha Choon Ha’s “The Man Who Abandoned Me” (literal translation). In an interview prior to her performance, Kei explained her upcoming performance by saying, “There were many songs [by Park Sung Hoon] that I knew, and I think they are all addictive. He’s personally one of my favorite songwriters. Today, I will be singing Ha Choon Ha’s ‘The Man Who Abandoned Me’. I wanted to keep the vibe of the original song but put a story in it. So for the first time, I will be trying out tap dancing, and I prepared a diverse performance, so my outfit is fancy as well.”
Kei was the first to perform, and she put on a Broadway-like performance of “The Man Who Abandoned Me.” She impressed the audience with her extraordinary vocal and dancing skills. Romantic Punch’s Bae In Hyuk dubbed her as a fairy and made everyone laugh when he confessed he wanted to be her sacrifice.
The final winners on the November 2 episode were Hong Kyung Min and Park Seo Jin.
