Park Min Young, Kim Jae Wook, And AB6IX Win Big At StarHub Night Of Stars 2019

StarHub Night of Stars 2019 returned to Marina Bay Sands in Singapore for the second time on November 24, featuring an exciting lineup. Stars like Park Min Young, Kim Jae Wook, and AB6IX flew over to grace the event, including a Green Carpet and an Awards Ceremony.

At the Green Carpet, AB6IX named black pepper crab and even bak kut teh (a pork rib dish cooked in broth) as their favorite local dishes. When asked to choose their funniest member, all members unitedly pointed to Lee Dae Hwi. The chosen member also kept ABNEW (the group’s official fandom name) on their toes by hinting at a world tour next year!

Donned in an elegant, shimmering white dress, Park Min Young stunned her way through the Green Carpet. “This may be a little TMI (too much information), but my sister is also in Singapore!” The actress added that her sister is not at the event, but busy with her own work.

Kim Jae Wook was the last to appear on the Green Carpet and said that he is excited to try out chilli crab as many people recommended the dish. The actor even responded to screams of “Ryan Gold,” the name of his character in “Her Private Life“!

As the winners of the Rising Star Award, Lim Young Min represented AB6IX as the leader and gave an acceptance speech.

“Hello, this is AB6IX. Thank you so much for inviting us to Singapore. It’s an honor to win such a big award as the 2019 Rising Star. Through this award, AB6IX will continue to improve and grow, so we ask for a lot of interest. Thank you.”

Towards the end of the awards ceremony, the boys entertained the crowd once again by performing their title tracks, “BREATHE” and “BLIND FOR LOVE.”

Kim Jae Wook and Park Min Young showed off their chemistry as the leading actors of “Her Private Life” by not only appearing on stage together, but also sitting together in the audience! Bagging the Best Male Asian Star Award and Best Female Asian Star Award respectively, each actor expressed their gratitude towards their achievements.

“When I received the offer to perform Sung Deok Mi in ‘Her Private Life’, I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off. But I thought about my fans who had faith in me and showed me unconditional love and support… so I took the chance, and I’m so grateful for this. I’ll continue to work hard and become a better actress. Once again, thank you very much Singapore for giving me this opportunity.” Park Min Young spoke in English.

“Thank you StarHub for the invite, I am grateful to receive this award. I know that ‘Her Private Life’ is very well-received internationally, and I think I’ve gained a lot from this drama. I would also like to thank my co-star Park Min Young, as well as the team behind this drama,” Kim Jae Wook said in Korean.
