SM Entertainment has announced that EXO’s press event for their sixth album “OBSESSION” has been canceled following Goo Hara’s passing. Their album is scheduled to be released on November 27.

The agency issued the following announcement:

Hello. This is SM Entertainment.

The press listening session for EXO’s sixth album ‘OBSESSION’ that was planned for November 27 at 11 a.m. has been canceled.

We ask for the understanding of reporters.

We express our deepest condolences over the sad news, and may she rest in peace.

More events and releases were canceled out of respect for Goo Hara’s sudden passing.

FNC Entertainment shared, “The release of AOA’s music video teaser that was scheduled for November 25 has been canceled. We ask fans for their understanding. We express our condolences for the unfortunate news, and may she rest in peace.”

Former KARA member Heo Young Ji not be partaking in a scheduled activity. A source from tvN’s “Comedy Big League” stated, “Heo Young Ji will not be participating in the recording for ‘Comedy Big League’ on November 26” Heo Young Ji is an MC on the show,  and someone else will have to fill in for her.

Crush’s album release will be pushed back. A source from P NATION said, “Crush’s second full album that was scheduled to be released on November 28 has been postponed for release on December 5. We ask fans who have been waiting for their understanding. We express our deepest condolences for the unfortunate news in the music industry, and may she rest in peace.”

In the wake of Goo Hara’s sudden passing, many celebrities have canceled or postponed upcoming events and appearances.

Actress Im Soo Hyang canceled her scheduled appearance at the 24th Culture and Entertainment Awards on November 25. A representative of the award ceremony explained, “Im Soo Hyang, who was scheduled to make an appearance, contacted us to say that she would not be participating [in the ceremony]. She is said to be close friends with the departed.”
