Kang Ha Neul may be appearing in a new movie soon!

On December 10, media outlets began reporting that Kang Ha Neul had been cast in an upcoming film from director Jo Jin Mo.

A source from Kang Ha Neul’s agency, TH Company, stated, “Kang Ha Neul is currently positively reviewing the offer from the film ‘Story of You and the Rain.'”

“Story of You and the Rain” (literal translation) is about a man and a woman who miss each other but cannot meet. The role that Kang Ha Neul has been offered is that of Young Ho, a young man who took several tries to get into college, doesn’t have any special goals in life, and starts exchanging letters with someone.

If accepted, this would be Kang Ha Neul’s first film project in three years, after 2017’s “Forgotten.” The movie is expected to begin filming in the first half of 2020.

After the huge success of “When the Camellia Blooms,” Kang Ha Neul chose a play as his upcoming project. He is also filming for the JTBC travel variety show “Traveler.”
