Kim Woo Bin To Return To TV As Narrator Of MBC Documentary

Kim Woo Bin will be returning to television through MBC’s special documentary “Humanimal” (literal translation).

The documentary “Humanimal” showcases the life and death of human beings and animals around the world and the epic story of coexistence.

The documentary is attracting attention as one of the most anticipated projects in the first half of 2020 with the news that top actors Yoo Hae JinRyu Seung Ryong, and Park Shin Hye participated in it as field presenters. Along with the production team, the three actors traveled across ten countries, including Thailand, the United States, Zimbabwe, Botswana, and South Africa, and observed the unfortunate reality of endangered wildlife.

Kim Woo Bin, who joined the group as the last member, will act as the narrator who relays the stories in “Humanimal.” Yoo Hae Jin, Ryu Seung Ryong, and Park Shin Hye will use their experiences to convey the life and death of animals from around the world, while Kim Woo Bin will deliver the message of coexistence that carries throughout the program.

This MBC documentary was produced by producing director (PD) Kim Jin Man, who produced “The Tear” series as well as “Bear,” and directed by PD Kim Hyun Ki who produced “Human Documentary Love” and “Youth Documentary: Twenty Again” (literal translation).

“Humanimal” consists of a total of five episodes, including the epilogue. It will premiere on January 6, 2020 at 8:55 p.m. KST and air at 10:05 p.m. every Thursday starting from January 9.

Kim Woo Bin recently resumed activities by appearing at the 40th Blue Dragon Film Awards after a two-year and six-month hiatus due to health issues.
