INFINITE's Sunggyu, Park Myung Soo, And In Gyo Jin Share Goals For New MBC Variety Show

INFINITE’s Sunggyu, Park Myung Soo, and In Gyo Jin amped up the excitement for “Birds of a Feather” (literal title)!

This upcoming MBC variety show will divide its cast—Park Myung Soo, Jang Sung Kyu, In Gyo Jin, Lee Soo Hyuk, SECHSKIES’s Eun Ji Won, Kwanghee, Sunggyu, Lee Yong Jin, Ha Seung Jin, and Jung Hyuk—by their dispositions. The show will deliver laughter and relatable moments as everyone respects each other’s different tendencies and react differently to the same situation.

On January 15, MBC released an interview of three of its cast members.

“Hello, this is MBC’s son, Park Myung Soo, who returned to MBC after a long time,” he began. “Each of the cast members is unique and popular, so I’ll work hard to create fun moments.”

As for his disposition, Park Myung Soo stated, “I don’t have a middle. I really like something or really dislike something. My type of personality induces a lot of laughter, so please look forward to it!” He added that he’s excited to entertain viewers with other members, including Kwanghee and Ha Seung Jin, and added, “I’ll create it one step at a time and try to give good laughter to viewers.”

In Gyo Jin said, “This is my first variety show. I’ll try to create overall teamwork and work hard at anything. I’m someone who is influenced a lot by the situation or the person I’m with.” He concluded that his wife So Yi Hyun advised him to be himself and show viewers who In Gyo Jin’s true appearance.

Sunggyu joined the show shortly after being discharged from the military. “It doesn’t feel real yet,” he said. “I lived as a soldier for two years and am returning to my old self, but it still feels a bit awkward and strange. But I’m really looking forward to it. I’ll work hard, so please give lots of love!” He added that he thinks of himself as an introvert and chose Eun Ji Won as a possible compatible cast member.

“Birds of a Feather” premieres on January 26 at 5 p.m. KST.
