Park Hae Jin Is Ready To Claim Jo Bo Ah's Heart With An Affectionate Surprise In "Forest"

KBS 2TV’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “Forest” released new stills of Park Hae Jin and Jo Bo Ah!

“Forest” tells the story of a man who has everything but a heart and a woman who has lost everything but her heart as they meet in a mystical forest and attempt to uncover the secrets within it.

Park Hae Jin plays Kang San Hyuk, a man who is willing to do anything to achieve his goal of amassing a personal fortune of one trillion won (approximately $850 million) and is interested in nothing else. Jo Bo Ah plays Jung Young Jae, a skilled surgeon who wants to teach a lesson to people who show off.

In the last broadcast, Kang San Hyuk and Jung Young Jae began to live under the same roof.  At the Seoul Hospital chairman’s publication party, Kang San Hyuk shared the shocking statement that he was living with Jung Young Jae with plans for marriage in front of the chairman and Jung Young Jae’s ex-boyfriend Cha Jin Woo (Heo Ji Won). When Jung Young Jae asked, “Should we date? There’s nothing to do anyways,” Kang San Hyuk replied, “This time, you’ll have to take responsibility.”

The newly released stills showcase Kang San Hyuk holding a surprise event for Jung Young Jae. He appears in the hospital lobby with a large stuffed bear, showering Jung Young Jae with affection by caressing her hair and sending her love bullets with his finger guns. Meanwhile, Jung Young Jae is frozen in place as she watches Kang San Hyuk’s extreme display of affection.

This scene was filmed in Yeoncheon county in Gyeonggi province, and the two actors had to rehearse their lines while facing different directions in order to hold back their laughter. However, Park Hae Jin’s adorable acting and adlibs eventually made Jo Bo Ah and the staff on set to all burst out into laughter, causing the actors to focus even harder afterwards.

The production team of “Forest” shared, “Park Hae Jin and Jo Bo Ah shook up the filming set with their skilled acting skills while exchanging adlibs and well-timed reactions. The scene was created with a ‘new type of surprise’ that only those two can pull off.” They added that the upcoming broadcasts will showcase even more heart-fluttering moments between Kang San Hyuk and Jung Young Jae.

“Forest” airs every Wednesday and Thursday at 10 p.m. KST.
