Additional Concerts And Events Canceled Or Postponed Due To Coronavirus

Many entertainment-related events in South Korea and around Asia continue to be canceled or postponed over concerns about the spread of coronavirus.

SBS announced that the “Running Man” fan meeting in Manila, originally scheduled for February 9, would be postponed to June 21.

T-ara’s Hyomin has temporarily postponed her fan meeting in Japan, originally scheduled to take place on February 23. The rescheduled date has not yet been announced.

Baek Yerin’s solo concerts on February 8 and 9 at the Yes24 Live Hall will proceed as planned, albeit with safety measures put in place. Her encore concert at the KSPO Dome on February 22, which involves a larger audience, will be canceled.

Several movie theaters in South Korea have temporarily closed business due to fears over the spread of the virus. As a result, the upcoming film “Beasts Clawing at Straws” has postponed its premiere, originally scheduled for February 12. The film “Honest Candidate,” however, will be premiering on February 12 as planned.

In addition to their concert in Singapore being canceled, WINNER has canceled their upcoming Seoul encore concerts on February 14 and 15. AKMU, who previously announced cancellations of their concerts in Changwon, have also canceled their Seongnam concerts on February 15 and 16. Full refunds will be available for those who purchased tickets.

ASTRO has postponed their fan meeting “The 4th ASTRO AROHA Festival [Campus].” AB6IX, who were scheduled to begin the Europe leg of their first world tour “6IXENSE” in February, have provisionally postponed the tour dates.

Baek Ji Young’s nationwide tour, “BAEK STGE,” has also been provisionally postponed. The tour was scheduled to begin on February 15 in Gwangju and head to Jeonju on March 7 and Seoul on March 21.
