Kangnam Talks About Newlywed Life With Lee Sang Hwa + How He Surprised Her At Their Wedding

Kangnam dished on his marriage on the latest episode of “Ask Us Anything”!

The star appeared as a guest on the February 8 broadcast of the JTBC variety show, where the cast members brought up his recent marriage to Olympic speed skater and gold medalist Lee Sang Hwa.

Super Junior’s Kim Heechul asked whether he liked being married, and Kangnam replied, “I’m so happy. I have a [newfound] sense of security and stability. I keep wanting to go home as quickly as possible.”

Min Kyung Hoon then mentioned that he had enjoyed watching the dance performance that Kangnam prepared for his wedding, and Kim Young Chul asked in surprise, “Kyung Hoon, you went to [Kangnam’s wedding] too?” Min Kyung Hoon made everyone laugh by clarifying, “No, I watched the video online.”

Kangnam went on to explain how he had ended up performing the surprise dance routine, which mimicked speed skating, for his wife at the wedding. “Ulala Session’s Goon Jo came up with the choreography,” he shared. “I did it because I wanted to prepare a gift for Sang Hwa.”

Kangnam also expressed his gratitude to his many celebrity friends who attended the wedding, remarking, “I didn’t expect so many of my older friends and acquaintances to come. So I was really grateful. I found myself feeling differently about my hyungs [older male friends] after I got married.”
