Kim Hye Soo And Joo Ji Hoon Play Mind Games With Each Other In "Hyena"

Kim Hye Soo and Joo Ji Hoon are gearing up for a second round of their power games in “Hyena!”

“Hyena” is a new Friday-Saturday drama from SBS about cutthroat lawyers who use their knowledge of the law to pursue dreams of wealth. Joo Ji Hoon plays Yoon Hee Jae, an elite lawyer at Korea’s top law firm, and Kim Hye Soo plays Jung Geum Ja, a money-hungry outsider in the legal industry.

In the premiere episode, it was revealed that Jung Geum Ja had approached Yoon Hee Jae in the guise of “Hee Sun.” Yoon Hee Jae had loved Hee Sun, but felt betrayed when he ended up running into Jung Geum Ja as the opposing lawyer in court. In a word, the two of them went from lovers to enemies.

On February 22, the “Hyena” production staff released new stills of the two characters ahead of the upcoming episode. Yoon Hee Jae can’t hide how taken aback he is by Jung Geum Ja’s presence, but she is absolutely unfazed, even sending him a sly wink. Yoon Hee Jae, fed up, appears to give her some kind of warning, which she responds to without batting an eye.

The production staff stated, “If Yoon Hee Jae was at a loss for what to do in their first round of mind games, he has prepared a counterattack for the second round. Please look forward to the back-and-forth power games between this couple.”

This episode of “Hyena” premieres on February 22 at 10 p.m. KST.
