Cha Tae Hyun Confirmed To Star In Upcoming Film + Yoo Yeon Seok In Talks To Join Him

Upcoming film “Puppy” (working title) is building up a stellar cast!

“Puppy” will be a film about two men who have puppy-like charms as they interact with an actual dog, and will be directed by Kim Joo Hwan, the man behind the hit film “Midnight Runners.” Choi Woo Shik and Gong Myung were originally slated to lead the film, but as production was pushed back, both had to withdraw from their respective roles.

On March 2, Blossom Entertainment confirmed that Cha Tae Hyun will be appearing in the film, making this his first film in close to three years since “Along with the Gods: The Last 49 Days.” He is currently set to make his drama return in OCN’s “Team Bulldog: Off-duty Investigation” (formerly known as “Further Investigation”).

A source from King Kong by Starship responded to reports that Yoo Yeon Seok would be joining the film and said, “He is currently looking over the offer.” The actor is preparing to greet viewers once again in tvN’s upcoming drama “Hospital Playlist,” which will premiere on March 12.

The film is said to be in its final stages of preparation with the goal to begin filming in the first half of 2020.

Stay tuned for more updates!
