Jang Sung Kyu Says He'd Like To Have HyunA And DAWN On His New Show About Celebrity Couples

On March 13, MBC’s new dating reality show “Don’t Be Jealous” held an online press conference with MCs Jang Sung Kyu, Jang Do Yeon, Heo Jae, VIXX’s Ravi, and Jeon Somi.

“Don’t Be Jealous” follows the real-life love stories of celebrity couples as they go about their everyday lives. The couples on the show include Rainbow’s Jisook and her boyfriend Lee Doo Hee, chef Lee Won Il and “The Manager” PD Kim Yoo Jin, and actress Choi Song Hyun and her boyfriend Lee Jae Han.

During the press conference, the MCs talked about their reactions to the show and their own attitudes toward public dating. At one point, Jang Sung Kyu was asked what other couples he would like to see on the show.

He replied, “I really want to invite HyunA and DAWN, the first idol couple to openly date while currently promoting, on the show. I really want to see how idols date in public.” Jeon Somi agreed with him and Jang Do Yeon added, “I see them on social media and they’re so lovey-dovey, it makes me curious.”

Jeon Somi also spoke about wanting to see a brand-new couple on the show. “[It would be nice] if it was a couple we didn’t know, but who revealed themselves naturally through the show,” she said. Ravi added jokingly, “You can date on MBC’s money.”

“Don’t Be Jealous” premiered on March 9.
