As the world grapples with COVID-19 (coronavirus), many scheduled events have been postponed or canceled as a response to the pandemic.

Lee Han Gyul and Nam Do Hyon (H&D) have pushed back their debut album from March 26 to April 21.

A source from the agency said, “First, we would like to thank fans who send endless support to H&D’s Han Gyul and Do Hyon. Events were scheduled following the release of H&D’s debut album on March 26 such as a fan signing and a fan concert in order to communicate closely with fans. But we would like to ask for your understanding for delaying the album due to the COVID-19 outbreak.”

They continued, “We have also changed the schedule for the events that were planned to communicate more closely with fans following the album release. We apologize to fans who waited for H&D’s debut album. Thank you for waiting for the album release. The health of the artists and fans is of the highest priority, and we changed the album release date after careful consideration.”

Starring actors Song Joong Ki and Lee Hee Joon, the upcoming film “Bogota” (literal title) has halted filming due to safety reasons. A source told Newsen, “The crew has decided to return to Korea out of safety. Filming began in January and was scheduled to wrap in May.

Upcoming action film “Kidnapping” (literal title), starring Ha Jung Woo and Joo Ji Hoon, has postponed the start of filming. A source from the film’s investor and distributor Showbox told Sports Chosun, “‘Kidnapping’ was scheduled to crank-in in the first half of the year without an exact date, but it was first decided for the end of March. But as COVID-19 spread all over the world, filming has been delayed. Like other films with overseas filming locations, ‘Kidnapping’ was scheduled to film in Morocco, which is located in Northern Africa. But that’s become difficult now due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The crank-in has been pushed back due to various factors. We’re currently not sure when exactly filming will take place.”

“Kidnapping” is based on the true story of the 1986 kidnapping of a diplomat in Beirut.
