Shin Ji Hoon And Jin Ye Sol Cast In New Film Alongside Kim Dong Jun And Kim Jae Kyung

Shin Ji Hoon and Jin Ye Sol have been cast alongside Kim Dong Jun and Kim Jae Kyung for the upcoming film “Way Station” (literal title)!

“Way Station” is a heartwarming melodrama centered around the love story between Seung Hyun (Kim Dong Jun), who loses more of his memory with each passing day due to Alzheimer’s Disease, and Ji Ah (Kim Jae Kyung), who suffers from a terminal illness and wants to be remembered by him. The film will also star Yoon Yoo Sun, Heo Jung Min, and Ailee, who will be making a special appearance.

Shin Ji Hoon will be taking on the role of Seok Jin, Ji Ah’s coworker and ex-boyfriend. Although he’s aware that Ji Ah has been diagnosed with a terminal illness, he tries to stay by her side until the end. In addition to portraying sweet romantic moments with Ji Ah in the early portions of the film, Shin Ji Hoon will also portray his character’s pain of having to say farewell to his past girlfriend.

After making his debut as a model through the 2011 Seoul Fashion Week, Shin Ji Hoon began his acting career with the musicals “Blue Black” and “Starlight.” He also starred in the web drama “Sweet 20s,” KBS’s “The Unusual Family,” and the films “Someone’s Dream” and “Our Diary.”

Furthermore, Jin Ye Sol will be playing Hye Sun, who wishes for her friend’s happiness more than anyone else in the world. Through her warmhearted character, Jin Ye Sol will showcase her powerful, emotional acting in the upcoming film.

Previously, Jin Ye Sol appeared in “New Tales of Gisaeng,” “Queen In Hyun’s Man,” “Can We Get Married?” and “Return of the Lucky Pot.” She also starred in “You Are a Gift” and “It’s My Life.”

“Way Station” is director Kim Jung Min’s first feature film and will begin filming May.
