On May 27 at 6 p.m. KST, the singer’s digital single “Linger On” was released along with the music video.

Roy Kim composed and wrote the lyrics for the ballad, which sings for those who grow step by step and find the light with their efforts even when not recognized by others.

Roy Kim will be releasing new music before his enlistment.

Recently, Stone Music Entertainment announced that Roy Kim had been accepted to the Marine Corps and that he would be enlisting on June 15.

On May 22, Roy Kim’s agency revealed, “Roy Kim will be releasing a new song on May 27. Written with Roy Kim’s unique emotions, the song he composed himself will contain his sincere feelings. Afterwards, Roy Kim will enlist on June 15 to the Marine Training Crops located in Pohang, North Gyeongsang Province to carry out his military duties.”

The upcoming song will be Roy Kim’s first new song in one year and eight months following the release of “The Hardest Part” in September 2018. After debuting with the single “Spring Spring Spring” in 2013, Roy Kim released numerous hits songs including “Love Love Love,” “Home,” “The Great Dipper,” and “Only Then.”
