Watch: GOT7 Gives TOO Advice For Their "Hard Carry" Cover On "Road To Kingdom"

GOT7 gave advice to TOO for “Road to Kingdom”!

For the current round of “Road to Kingdom,” groups teamed up to create collaboration performances. The three teams are TOO and VERIVERY, ONF and PENTAGON, and ONEUS and The Boyz. TOO and VERIVERY kicked off the third round with their performance of BTS‘s “ON.” The five teams that will be moving onto the live final round will face off in the “Your Song” mission in which each team has to perform a song that their collaboration partner team chose.

On June 4, Mnet released a new preview of TOO asking GOT7 for their advice on performing “Hard Carry.” TOO nervously makes their way to GOT7’s waiting room where GOT7 excitedly welcomes the group. TOO’s Chan says, “It feels as if they’re so far from us. I had no idea we would meet them like this, and they feel so much like celebrities.”

GOT7’s Jackson compliments, “We have always been talking about how great your dancing is.” When Chan reveals that they will be covering “Hard Carry,” GOT7 reacts in shock. JB comments, “That’s really difficult,” and jokingly adds, “If you have to cover ‘Hard Carry,’ it’s just best to avoid it completely.”

Since “Hard Carry” contains many rap portions, TOO asks to showcase their rap to GOT7. Chi Hoon shares that he’s nervous, so Jackson suggests to pick one more member to showcase his rap. Chi Hoon chooses J.You, and Jackson draws laughter as he asks, “You didn’t think you would get chosen, right? I was watching you.” After their performances, GOT7 praises TOO for their powerful voices.

Chan explains, “We’re thinking about using a funky concept when we rearrange the song.” BamBam replies, “But this is…,” and the preview cuts off before revealing BamBam’s suggestion.
