BTOB's Eunkwang Sends Message To Members In Military, Names Groups He Became Close With, And More

On June 16, BTOB’s Eunkwang made a guest appearance on KBS CoolFM’s “Jung Eun Ji’s Music Plaza” to talk about the BTOB members in the army, artists he has gotten close to, and upcoming plans for promotions.

Eunkwang revealed that he wanted to talk about his regrets from his previous appearance. He said, “I was actually sad the last time I came on the show. I really wanted to sing live with Jung Eun Ji, but due to the circumstances, I couldn’t, so I am here today in order to sing.”

Radio host Jung Eun Ji of Apink pointed out that Eunkwang seems to be losing a lot of weight, to which Eunkwang responded, “The weight is shedding on its own. I don’t lose weight when I diet, but I do whenever I’m promoting.”

When Jung Eun Ji asked Eunkwang about junior artists he has become closer with, Eunkwang answered, “Lately, I’ve gotten close to N.Flying and VICTON.”

Later, a listener remarked, “Eunkwang must feel sorry that he can’t attend Yook Sungjae’s and Hyunsik’s military training completion ceremony.”

Eunkwang said, “That’s right. I was actually confused about whether it was today or tomorrow, but I feel sorry that I can’t go due to the current situation and because I’m in the midst of promotions.”

He then sent a voice message to Yook Sungjae and Hyunsik. He said, “I miss you guys. Sungjae and Hyunsik, I’m promoting as a solo artist right now, and you guys must be going crazy because you miss me.”

Eunkwang continued, “Please stay healthy, and don’t get hurt while you are serving in the military. I hope you come back after having a good time. I’ll be staying strong and waiting. Let’s go until the day all of BTOB reunites in 2022.”

Then, Eunkwang was asked what food he wanted to eat the most upon his military discharge, and he answered, “I like my mom’s L.A. galbi (Korean BBQ short ribs) the most. I used to like samgyetang (ginseng chicken soup) the most, but after I was discharged, I wanted to eat L.A. galbi. I think I’ve eaten it twice a week for a month, but I’m not sick of it.”

He added, “Since it’s been hot lately, I’m craving kong-guksu (soy milk noodle soup).”

Eunkwang also fulfilled his wish of singing with Jung Eun Ji, as they performed “LOVE DAY” by Jung Eun Ji and Highlight’s Yang Yoseob.

As a final comment, Eunkwang shared his plans for upcoming promotions. He said, “My promotions for ‘No One Knows’ are now ending, but I have a lot to prepare for. I plan to perform in my musical starting in August.”

He continued, “I’m getting ready for my fans. I can’t say much now, but I hope you will look forward to it a lot.”
