The Rose’s Dojoon has confirmed his military enlistment date.

On July 3, Dojoon posted a handwritten letter in both Korean and English to announce that he would be beginning his military duties starting on July 6. He wrote, “I’m very cautious about telling you since this is sudden news for our fans who send us unconditional love and infinite support. But I’d like to say that I’ll do my best in a brave and healthy way!!”

Along with his resolve to “return as a more mature and dignified man,” Dojoon also promised to return with good music despite the inevitable break. He added, “I sincerely thank every single one of you again for making me possible to embrace our beautiful memories together and cherish every minute and every second with our Black Rose.”
