Watch: “My Unfamiliar Family” Cast Has Fun Rehearsing Together On Set
tvN’s “My Unfamiliar Family” has released a new behind-the-scenes video!
Later, Won Mi Kyung joins them to rehearse a scene, and the actresses practice their lines under the watch of the director. As Won Mi Kyung greets on-screen daughter Han Ye Ri eagerly, the director comments, “You’re too excited,” and makes the cast and crew laugh. Chu Ja Hyun, who plays the sister of Han Ye Ri’s character, feigns disappointment at her mother’s brighter attitude toward Han Ye Ri.
The actresses continue to have fun on set as Han Ye Ri and Chu Ja Hyun try out a funny way of saying their lines.
When the director stops them, Chu Ja Hyun points out to him, “The camera filming the making-of video is behind us,” and jokingly scolds him for not keeping up with their antics. Then, Shin Jae Ha and Jung Jin Young join the scene, making the on-screen family complete.
Next to rehearse is Kim Ji Suk, who takes on an emotional scene with Han Ye Ri. Han Ye Ri begins to cry upon hearing Kim Ji Suk’s lines, and the director tells her, “Your reaction is too fast. Hold your tears in.”
Han Ye Ri says, “From the perspective of the viewers, I have to be crying right now.” The director then wittily responds, “No, your reaction is that of someone who has already seen the script.”
Later, Chu Ja Hyun and Kim Tae Hoon film a sad scene of their own, where they confess the news of their divorce to Won Mi Kyung.
When the cameras stop rolling, Won Mi Kyung admits, “I can’t help but feel hurt inside.” Chu Ja Hyun reveals that Kim Tae Hoon had a hard time holding in his tears as well.
The clip cuts to Han Ye Ri and Kim Ji Suk again, and they practice for a scene that previews new changes in their relationship.
Kim Ji Suk says, “Today is the day Chan Hyuk and Eun Hee hold hands, which is more exciting than a kiss scene. Is this how they start making physical contact with each other? What will happen?” The two continue to try out different ways of acting out their hand-holding scene.
