MONSTA X and their fan club Monbebe are being recognized for their meaningful contributions!

On July 22, Starship Entertainment revealed, “MONSTA X and their fan club Monbebe have become members of Good Neighbor’s The Neighbors Club.”

The Neighbors Club is a status awarded to those who have made contributions of at least 10 million won (approximately $8,380) a year to the international humanitarian NGO and who partake in meaningful activities to help foster a culture of giving help to those in need. Other members of The Neighbors Club include So Ji Sub, Kim Hyun Joo, Go Ara, and Lee Seung Chul.

In March, MONSTA X made a donation of 100 million won (approximately $83,800) to Good Neighbors to help those in need in the Daegu and North Gyeongsang Province regions amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Hearing this, their fan club Monbebe also stepped up voluntarily to make their own donations.

On this basis, Good Neighbors contacted MONSTA X to invite them to join The Neighbors Club, and it is said that the members of MONSTA X expressed a strong desire to have Monbebe join them, which is how both MONSTA X and Monbebe joined The Neighbors Club together. The group also stated, “We wish to share the love we have received from fans with those in need.”

MONSTA X is currently gearing up for their upcoming “MONSTA X Live From Seoul With Luv” online concert, which will take place on August 9.
