PENTAGON's Hui Takes Part In Composing Song For "Produce 101 Japan" Group JO1

PENTAGON’s Hui participated in penning a new song by “Produce 101 Japan” group JO1!

On August 5, Cube Entertainment confirmed with news outlet TV Report that Hui took part in composing JO1’s new song “OH-EH-OH.” The group performed the song for the first time on the variety show “HEY! HEY! NEO! MUSIC CHAMP” on August 1, and it’s the title track to their second single “STARGAZER” that’s slated for an August 26 release.

In addition to writing many of PENTAGON’s songs, Hui has also co-composed tracks including Wanna One‘s “Energetic,” “Never” from “Produce 101 Season 2,” and more.

An interesting link between JO1 and PENTAGON is that JO1’s member Kawashiri Ren was a dancer during PENTAGON’s Japan tour.

PENTAGON recently competed on the Mnet show “Road to Kingdom.” Hui will soon be making his musical debut in a production of “Blazing Sonata” that begins this month, and he’s been performing on the MBC trot program “Favorite Entertainment.”
