Update: More Details Revealed About Kakao M's New Reality Show With Lee Hyori

Kakao M has shared more details about their upcoming reality show with Lee Hyori.
Titled “Face ID,” it is an original digital variety program that showcases a celebrity’s real life through their smartphone. Lee Hyori is named as the first star to appear, suggesting that there will be other celebrities later on. She will begin filming this month and the content will appear on KakaoTalk’s new video platform sometime within the year.
Kakao M stated, “Lee Hyori, whose every move attracts public attention, will be the first person to appear on ‘Face ID.’ She plans to reveal her honest, simple, flamboyant, real life. She is a Korean icon who sets trends in makeup, fashion, and lifestyle, and there has been much interest not only in her public star life but in her simple life on Jeju Island.”
“Face ID” will be co-produced by Studio82 and directed by Yoo Il Han, who was in charge of digital drama and variety content at Dingo, and Ahn Hyun Jin, who directed “Cool Kids” and “Korea’s Next Top Model.”

Lee Hyori is set to return with her own reality show!
On August 10, it was reported that Lee Hyori is planning to appear in a digital reality show that will follow her day-to-day life with husband Lee Sang Soon on Jeju Island. The reports claimed that the show would be released within the second half of the year on a video platform based on KakaoTalk that Kakao M is currently working on.
In response to this, a source from Kakao M stated, “It’s true that we’re preparing a new digital reality show with Lee Hyori. She has confirmed that she will appear in the show, but we are still discussing details such as the program name and release date.”
Lee Hyori recently wrapped up activities as Linda G, a member of co-ed group SSAK3 with Yoo Jae Suk (Yoo Dragon) and Rain (B-Ryong) for “How Do You Play?” Check it out below:
